INTAS Collaborative Call 2006
with the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
ВНИМАНИЕ! Срок подачи заявок на Конкурс ИНТАС – СО РАН продлен до 6 июня 2006 г.
In 2006 INTAS launches a collaborative call for research project proposals with the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS)1, with an indicative budget of € 1.72 million, shared between SB RAS (25 million roubles, approximately € 720,000) and INTAS (approximately € 1,000,000).
Scope:
The scope of the call will encompass eight topics:
Life sciences, including fundamental aspects of human health;
Pure and applied mathematics and mathematical modelling in other sciences;
New paradigms in information technologies, including bioinformatics;
Physics and chemistry of advanced materials and processes;
Aerodynamics and space, including solar and terrestrial studies;
New instrumentation, technologies and methods for multidisciplinary research;
Environment, ecosystems, biodiversity and climate, and their interaction, including evolutionary studies and monitoring;
Historical, cultural and socio-economic studies of regional and inter-regional development. The call encompasses basic and applied research but excludes market-oriented technology development.
Consortium:
The project consortia must comprise at least one team from each of two different INTAS member states, including the team of the coordinator, and at least one team from an institution of the SB RAS. The consortia are open to teams from the NIS not belonging to SB RAS.
Duration of projects:
The project duration must be 12, 18, or 24 months.
Maximum allowable funding:
The maximum allowable funding per project is 150,000€ subject to the scientific content, the duration and the number of scientists involved. No more than 25% of each INTAS project grant will be available to teams from INTAS member states.
